In a few short weeks Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will begin its 25 day run over the course of September, October, and the 1st of November. This is a hard ticketed event which means that it is not included with your regular pass purchase. Walt Disney World has always been military friendly and they offer some great discounts. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of those great discounted events.
Currently military personnel can purchase tickets for MNSSHP for all September dates at a discount. You can purchase these tickets at guest service locations on Walt Disney World property as well as at Shades of Green resort. Most of the information I have seen online about these tickets show a price of $47.60. I purchased my tickets at Shades of Green last weekend and they cost $54. Tax is not charged at Shades of Green so I do not know where the price confusion is coming from. With anything, prices and rules can change at any time without notice.
The dates that offer a military discount are:
September – 15, 18, 20, 22, 26, & 27
October 31st is already sold out
Military members can still obtain tickets to sold out dates, except 31 October, because you have to purchase them in person. You will pay the military discounted price for sold out dates in September and full price for the dates in October and November.
This will be my first MNSSHP so I am a bit excited. If you’ve been and have some tips or tricks to making the best out of a MNSSHP night please leave them in the comments.
